Perfect harmony of the fragility of flower motifs

Game of opposites with a perfect harmony between the fragility of floral motifs and the functional stability of the everyday object. This has started with the question of whether such a small space could carry a bunch of flowers. Furthermore, manual production entails high demands in terms of patience and sufficient skills which goes hand in hand with the time consuming nature of the entire process.

 

To achieve maximum airiness and elaborate nature, even the slightest possible detail must be as fine as possible and therefore I work with French porcelain which guarantees transparency of every single layer. To attain the most natural effect and a kind of “earthly nature, I intentionally do not glaze the vase and let the porcelain show its true colors.
